Brand Deal Pitch Email Template (Copy and Paste)
By Roberto Blake · Last reviewed October 3, 2026 · Part of the First Brand Deal guide
Quick answer
A good brand deal pitch email is short, specific, and about the brand's customer. Use a subject line with a concrete idea, one line on who you serve, one proof point, one content idea, and one easy ask. Link your media kit, personalize the first two lines every time, and follow up two or three times about a week apart.
The 5 parts of a pitch that gets read
- Subject: the brand name plus a specific idea, not "Collaboration opportunity."
- Opening: one line on who you create for.
- Proof: one concrete fact, such as community size, a result, or a past partnership.
- Idea: one content idea tied to their customer.
- Ask: one low-friction next step, such as a short call.
Do not put your rate in the first email unless the brand's process requires it. Ask for their budget range when they reply, then quote using the DEAL levers.

Template 3: Last follow-up

Hi [Name],
I create [format, e.g. short product demos] that brands run on their own channels. Here are two examples: [link] [link].
For [product], I would shoot [one concrete concept]. I price creation and usage rights separately so you only pay for the usage you need.
Can I send a quote?
[Your name]
Before you hit send
- Find the right person: partnerships, influencer or creator marketing, or whoever runs social.
- Rewrite the first two lines for this brand. Never mass-blast one version.
- Link your One Sheet or media kit instead of burying it. See how to make a media kit.
- Make one clear ask.
- Log every pitch and the follow-up date in a simple tracker.

Frequently asked questions
Who should I email at a brand?
Look for someone in partnerships, influencer marketing, creator marketing, or brand marketing. At small companies, the founder or whoever runs social media is often the decision maker.
How long should I wait before following up?
About a week is a reasonable gap. Send two or three follow-ups total, each adding something new, then move on and revisit the brand later.
Should I attach my media kit or link it?
Either works. A link to a hosted One Sheet or media kit is usually easier to open and lets you update it without resending.
How many brands should I pitch?
Start with 10 to 30 brands whose customers match your audience, sent in small batches so you can improve the message as you learn from replies.
