So each year we make it a point to try to keep you up to date on interesting YouTube Statistics including how many YouTube Channels there are, and how many YouTube Channels have over 100,000, 1 Million, 10 Million, and 100 Million Subscribers.
Q: How Many YouTube Channels Are There?
There are more than 115 Million YouTube Channels as of August 2025 and over 2.7 Billion Users World Wide across over 100 countries.

**Currently Social Blade only tracks roughly 60M channels globally but this excludes some countries and smaller channels that don't submit themselves manually, so the numbers Social Blade has is always lower, but its the number the YouTube community largely references or accepts.
There are roughly 115 Million YouTube Channels in the entire world with roughly 60M Channels Actively Uploading to YouTube every month.
Far less than 1% of all YouTube Channels have a silver or gold play button, even if you wanted to try to narrow it down to only active channels.
Less than 100,000 channels in the United States have a Silver Play Button and over 100,000 Subscribers and only roughly 13,000 YouTube Channels in the United States have a Gold Play Button and over 1 Million Subscribers.
